Photomicrography
To the left, you can see a picture of a sunflower leaf viewed under a microscope at 40x magnification. In this project, we had to take a photograph of cells from under a microscope. This helped me understand what cells look like under a microscope, and understand the structures of plant cells. In my picture to the left, you can see small dots, which are cells. The white lines are the vascular tissue of the leaf. This tissue is how nutrients are transported through the leaf.
